Hear from Our Satisfied Readers The Joy Our Books Bring

We have lot of literature on Sri Lalitha Sahasranama and Sri Vishnu Sahasranama, but very little on Sri Ganesha Sahasranama. This book helps in filling that gap. The book goes beyond simple translation of Khadyota vyakhya. It is enriched with content from other authentic sources as well. I did not have any difficulty in reading Devanagari script on kindle. But the author has also given transliteration for those who have difficulty in reading Devanagari script.

Sudhakara Babu Kaja

This is so far the best source on the 108 names of Shiva I could find. It really helps to get the meaning of all these names and therefore to understand Lord Shiva on a deeper level. Ever since I bought it, this book has become my daily companion. Every morning, I review one of the 108 names and meditate on it during the day. It has been an enlightening journey so far. Thank you for this book. OM namah Shivaya

Namaskarams, I had been looking for an apt translation of Durga Chandrakala Stuti by Srimad Appayya Deekshitar in Tamil or English. I had read a few translations available on the internet, but nothing made justice to the work, I felt. I also had the sva-vykhyana by Srimad Appayya Desskshitar himself in Sanskrit. But my sanskrit knowledge isn't all the great, so this sanskrit vyakhyana was like - there is a saying in tamil 'naai petra thengampazham' - Full unbroken coconut with a dog, it cannot do anything with it. Koushik sir's translation seems to be based on the sva-vyakhyanam of Srimad Appaya Deekshitar. This was goddess sent and many thanks to the author for the translation. May Jagadamba bless him with her infinite grace.

I was pleasantly suprised that the author Koushik did not just translate the book but also added material from other sources like Upanishads linked to Ganapati. This is a MUST READ for Ganapati devotees.

Excellent Lord Aditya devotional book explained in a very heart felt devotional way, which is from Sri Valmiki Ramayana. Must read for every one who want to have health, prosperity, victory (over enemies) and all God Aditya's greatchoicest blessings in this world and beyond. Author Mr.Koushik deserves greater applaud and we want him to deliver more such devotional and spiritual books for welfare of mankind.

Good things come in small packages. I will be honest in saying I did not have great expectations when ordering this book. Once it arrived and I started reading, I was pleasantly surprised at how this book its usefulness and illumination. This book is a small portion taken from the Vana Parva of the Mahabharata. It consists of the one hundred and sixteen names for Surya, the Vedic deity representing the Sun. These one hundred and sixteen name are found in 12 Shlokas. The names themselves are not remarkable, but the translator’s commentaries of these names are. I have been studying the Vedas and Vedic literature for some time, and even with these studies I learned something new and important about some of the epithets for Surya from the running commentary in this book.
